solutions, map out a training strategy and help you to put it into practice.
The clinic will feature supervised instruction, as well as the opportunity to
practice on your own.
This clinic is geared for polishing specific herding techniques that are judged
at trials. Typical problems addressed at this clinic will focus on trialing
issues and trialing goals—outruns, gates, penning, driving, shedding, fetching,
holding livestock, bordering on a road, bordering during grazing, placement,
changing sides, traffic, bridge, etc., reading sheep, reading your course
topography, reading your judge, trialing preparation, trial warm-up, gate
protocol, trialing strategy for various situations.
