Why Grass Fed?
sustainable management practices we use at Raspberry Ridge do not release
pesticides, herbicides and other chemicals into the environment, or into the
food chain. Because our lambs are locally bred, raised, and processed, you will
not be consuming meat that has been wastefully transported thousands of miles
along its meandering way to your dinner table. It’s direct to you, from us.
Cooking with grass fed lamb
Grass fed lamb is much leaner than
conventional lamb, so be careful not
to overcook it. We recommend
cooking our lamb at a lower
temperature and for less time than
usual. Grass fed meats typically take
30% less time than conventional
meat. Use a meat thermometer to
make sure your meat is cooked
perfectly every time.
